Vroon B.V., Breskens Holland, is a family company which was founded over a century ago when the great-grandfather of the present managing director, F.D. Vroon, started trading in coal and fertilisers. In 1952 the first ship was bought and today, Vroon B.V. owns and manages a fleet of about 62 vessels. A fleet of many shiptypes and very often specialised for dedicated trades and/or commodities. The vessels are trading worldwide on time charter and voyage contracts, in liner and tramp services. Apart from the main office in Breskens, Vroon B.V. has offices in Fremantle, Australia and in Singapore. A world-wide network of agents of which some work exclusively for Vroon B.V., supports the versatile fleet of vessels. Our motivated team of employees both at sea and ashore, the variety in the fleet and the ability to take quick decisions, have enabled our rapid growth.
