Company's Profile Tsavliris are the most active emergency response contractors for maritime casualties worldwide. To maintain and improve their service to shipping, Tsavliris are continually investing in resources, including the training of field and office personnel. At the same time, the group has invested in its own fleet of dedicated salvage vessels and a wide array of auxiliary equipment maintained at its storage depots. In the last few years, the group has expanded its capacity enabling us to fulfil our commitment to maintain powerful tugs permanently on station in some of the world's busiest shipping lanes, including the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, Indian and Atlantic Oceans. We have furthermore established the practice of "Salvage Masters on station", in places where access from Piraeus is difficult, such as Argentina, South Africa, Singapore etc. We have also established a similar arrangement with Salvage Masters or experts in Europe, whenever our permanent staff is not readily available. The arrangements ensure quick presence on casualties, which sometimes is vital. In addition to maintaining its own fleet, Tsavliris is the most regular subcontractor of equipment, personnel, AH (anchor handling) ships and salvage tugs in the international market. Altogether, Tsavliris has undertaken well more than 1,800 salvage operations in the last 40 years with a success rate of nearly 100% in terms of saving ships and cargoes, and preventing marine pollution. The group's longstanding policy has been to provide salvage services preferably under Lloyd's Open Form. Our salvage operations are performed worldwide, including the Black Sea, Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, Gulf of Aden, Indian Ocean, North and South Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, South China Sea, Java Sea, Sea of Japan, Pacific Ocean, Sea of Okhotsk, Baltic Sea, English Channel, the Gulf of Honduras and Yellow Sea etc. We have also performed salvages in ports, rivers, straits and waterways around the world. The volume of emergency response operations undertaken by Tsavliris can be attributed to several factors, such as worldwide reputation as professional salvors, the number of salvage tugs on station, our attitude towards salved interests and our understanding of their problems. Equally important, is the group's firm policy of sending a salvage team wherever it is needed, as a service to our clients, very often without remuneration. Our clients benefit from our free advice service, which we volunteer round the clock. Over the years, we have gained the respect of many Owners, a number of which request our services for advice and assistance on any problem related to salvage. We usually undertake everything on "No Cure - No Pay" basis, something which is appreciated by our clients. Further, the Group has a strong presence in the offshore and towage sector, where our unequalled very large salvage tugs have proved to be valuable tools for performing difficult and challenging towages that would have otherwise required a number of conventional tugs to accomplish. TSAVLIRIS SALVAGE GROUP is a world-class professional marine salvor, dedicated to saving life and property at sea and to protecting the marine........ Tsavliris Group of Companies
