Turbine Works Ltd. (Tvornica turbina d.o.o. - TTK) is a 100% privately owned company established in 1991 through organisational changes of former "Jugoturbina", and as such continues fine tradition of quality metal works in Karlovac. Turbine Works is a member of: - EMEC, European Marine Equipment Council - Affiliation of Croatian Marine Equipment Manufacturers, Croatian Chamber of Economy Since establishment main areas of activities are divided into four branches: Design and manufacture of new marine equipment Manufacture of spare parts for marine and industrial pumps and turbines Refurbishment of marine and industrial power equipment Vibrodiagnostic services, dynamic balancing and noise analysis In the area of new marine equipment we have become established and internationally recognised supplier with excellent links in Croatian shipyards. Our production factory is equipped with heavy and light machining workshops, welding workshop, assembly area, test facility for small to medium pumps and water ejectors, and balancing machines. Our welding workshop is certified by Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd and RINA. All our products are being built under strict supervision and control of national and international institutions like: Croatian Register of Shipping (CRS) Bureau Veritas (BV) Lloyd's Register of Shipping (LRS) Det Norske Veritas (DNV) American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Germanischer Lloyd RINA Russian Register Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) Our team consists of fully qualified people ranging from design engineers, draftsman, power and dynamics engineers, specialists in vibrational diagnostics, to planning and project managers. Our specialty is to give best service and products for best price, while at the same time guaranteeing best quality and customer satisfaction.
