To offer more sophisticated logistics services to customers as a MOL group, Japan Express merged MOL Ohi Physical Distribution Center (one of the largest multifunction distribution center in Tokyo-Ohi area) in July 1998, and Amtex Japan, Inc.(international freight forwarder) in April 1999. Furthermore, these merger will be completed in October 1999 by merging the Forwarding division of International Container Terminal, Inc.(TICT) into our company. Service Provided Combined transportation services Taking over wide-ranging experiences in AMTEX JAPAN, Japan Express can handle everything from small parcels to container cargoes and industrial and plant equipment. Optimum route and mode for customers' requirements are determined with the fastest and most cost-effective combination of sea, air and land transport in cooperation with worldwide partners. Project transport service In the project transport field, working closely with shipping companies and logistics companies, Japan Express can offer transport services tailored to individual customer needs and safely, successfully handle the shipment of entire industrial complexes-rigging and installation of equipment, temporary storage and matching delivery dates to the construction schedule. Another advantage is its sufficient experiences in event transportation. Including displays, stage sets, and equipment for exhibitions and performing arts tours, Japan Express handle all customers' treasures-large and small-safely and surely. Consolidation service Japan Express has also offered consolidation services between main ports in Japan and Asian countries. In addition to current services to Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang and Keelung, Japan Express has started the consolidation service to Bangkok since May 1999. Domestic/International household removal service Japan Express offers complete door-to-door, or more precisely, shelf-to-shelf household removal service, from packing customers' possessions at their old house to unpacking at the new residence. The service covers 80 countries around the world as well as throughout Japan. Warehousing and inventory control service As a licensed warehouse operator, Japan Express meets customer needs for warehousing of refrigerated and frozen products and dangerous goods as well as conventional cargoes, regardless of overseas or domestic cargoes.
