The shipping agency SCAN-Shipping Pol., Szczecin has been in existence since 1991 as a subsidiary of BRISE Schiffahrt Hamburg. On behalf of its customers it is organising the import and export of various types of cargo to and from Poland and to the German Hinterland. The years of experience accumulated by SCAN-Shipping Poland have allowed friendly and co-operative relationships with the companies and institutions in the ports of Szczecin, Swinoujscie and Police to grow. The swift and trouble-free handling of ships of all regular sizes, that enter the harbours along the River Oder, is guaranteed by an experienced workforce under the management of Mr. Andrzej Stachyra. In 1998, the company was able to further strengthen its position within Poland by establishing an independent branch office in Gdynia. The ports of Gdansk and Gdynia are served from this office, so that SCAN-Shipping Pol. now has an active presence in every Polish seaport.
