HOME : GREETING Welcome to the Homepage of the Korea Port and Harbour Association Since the Korea Port and Harbour Association was established in 1977, it has been actively engaged in planning and performing research activities to develop Korea ports and harbours. The Associations activities include amending the design standards for harbour and Fishery port and other national technological standards; publishing the design standards for harbour and fishery port and port/harbour-related technical specifications, and operation of the wave observation network. Korea has become a world-class trading nation thanks to the strong will and efforts of the port-related persons to develop high-capacity harbours on time, although often under difficult circumstances. In spite of the past successes, Korea requires an even greater commitment to build or expand harbours to become the logistics hub of Northeast Asia. This Homepage provides vital port/harbor-related information to interested persons and will be continually updated with useful information as it becomes available. Thank you.
