Selecting a crew is one of the most important tasks faced by the Ship Manager. There are many options. Costs vary widely, and so may the voyage profits. Therefore the employment of competent crew is vital in today's context in order to manage vessels in the safest & most cost effective way. Part Crew or Full complement; single specialist personnel supplied standards are in compliance with STCW 95/ISM Code i.e Flag State Requirement. Our Crew Management package includes such services as Recruitment of seafarers based on stringent assessment and selection procedures in strict accordance with international standards, STCW 95 & the ISM code. Specialized In-house training courses and an on-board training programme conducted to suit specific requirements of clients or flag state requirements. Maintaining a company pool of seafarers to ensure that continuity and quality is maintained on all manned ships. Assist seafarers in joining the vessel by completing medical (Alcohol and drug screening tests), uniform, working gear formalities. Arranging visa, ticketing, and co-ordinating with joining port agents to ensure smooth joining of the seafarer & also to relieve and rotate as per the requirements of the Principals. Fulfilling the Social/Family obligation required for the seafarer, on behalf of the Principal when he is sailing. Establishing close liaison with various unions & other regulatory bodies i.e. PSC & Classification in India and updating clients on all regulations pertaining to the employment of seafarers. Keeping systematic personnel service records containing such information as Personal details, education, training and competence, next of kin, Performance evaluation, allotment, wages earnings, deductions, service and employment history. Onboard administration including accounting, allotments and victual ling. Provide On-site support and coordination in the event of vessel detention, Mishap & medical emergencies. Represents the principal for legal cases filed in India by the crew on matters claiming disability. medical or breach of employment contract if any.
