With modern premises and state-of-the-art equipment in its headquarters at Santos as well as in all its several branches around Brasil, Grieg employs over 200 people, who are in permanent training, totally committed to the Quality System ISO 9001:2000, which has been in place for some years already. With the set target of providing the most comprehensive service to the Exporters and Importers, efficiently and reliably, Grieg has formed specialized companies to take care of your cargo from the Supplier's door all the way to the Receiver's door, anywhere in the World. In this regard, Grieg Retroporto Ltda., established in 1976, has a fully integrated computerized system to control cargo/container movements. Responsible for the storing, stuffing and stripping cargoes, as well as their unitization, transportation and distribution, Grieg Retroporto relies on a 34,000 sqm depot for up to 5,000 containers (TEU), including a fully sheltered 2,000sqm warehouse, apart from modern equipment for cargo and container handling. In April 2001, Grieg Logistica Ltda. was conceived with the main objective of offering tailor-made logistics management to an ever-growing number of customers, including a complete coordination (contracting) and supervision all the way from EXW to DDP (where/whenever possible). Grieg Logistica shall soon be operating as O.T.M. (Multimodal Transport Operator) in line with the applicable legislation.
