Dates for our UK courses for the remainder of 2004 are now available. BSI is synonymous with Quality BSI pioneered the development of the original quality management system BS 5750, which was developed and adopted by the International Standards Organization into ISO 9000. Today, more than half a million companies are now registered to ISO 9000 plus 10% more companies were registered to ISO 9000 last year than the previous year. ISO 9000 sets out how to implement an integrated quality management system fitting into the normal workings of the business. Avoiding the application of systems separate from your business processes, it creates a more ‘process-based’ logical and effective approach to managing an organization. Recently revised on 15 December 2003, ISO 9000 is cutting red tape, providing tighter focus on customer satisfaction and allowing greater flexibility. This enables companies to deploy the quality management system in the way that gives them the best results. Quality is a continuous process that evolves over time and with experience, BSI can offer you the ISO 9000 series of standards, and also the books that will enable your organization to embrace total quality management. This area of the website also looks at how quality is encompassed and impacts on other areas of businesses including design management, project management, complaints management, and the emerging area of Information and knowledge management. Whether it’s standards, guidance, books or CD-ROMs, we have the answers you are looking for. If you don’t see a link that covers your particular product or line of business just click onto our online catalogue and do a standard number or keyword search.
