Laem Chabang LCB1, located at terminal B-1 in Laem Chabang Port, commenced operation in 1995. In 2000 a container throughput of 447.831 TEU's was recorded with 411 vessel calls. The port is ideally located at the Eastern Seaboard, the major industrial area of Thailand, and only 150 km from Bangkok. Vessel operations, yard operation, gate transaction, documentation and all other container handling services are offered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by our highly motivated and trained staff. LCB1 is continually investing in new equipment and technology. The terminal operates Post-Panamax cranes, 1+5 Tier RTG's and employs a fully computerized container control system.
