Chartering Heinrich Hanno will provide a suitable ship or, as required, space on a part-cargo basis for any category of cargo. The company charter a full range of coasters, barges and ocean-going vessels, annually transporting 5 million tons of cargo world-wide. Ships chartered by the company ply the Rhine, Moselle, Neckar, Main and the Danube, as well as the North German canals. Freight Contracting & Shipbroking After the opening of the Main-Danube Canal in 1992, Heinrich Hanno were among the first to extend their inland chartering services to the ports of Central Europe. Heinrich Hanno are expert shipbrokers and freight contracters, drawing on extensive experience in these specialized areas. Combining these services, Heinrich Hanno provide in-house transportation to and from any destination world-wide. Shipagents Heinrich Hanno act as shipagents in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The company offer the benefit of its extensive experience to owners and charterers, at the same time serving vessel and cargo interests to the full. Forwarding Heinrich Hanno maintain a forwarding and superintending department which deals primarily with ARAG-ports, i.e. the area defined by Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp and Ghent. The department is specialized in seaport forwarding, employing as required any particular mode of transport including road, rail or air, as well as inland barges and ocean-going vessels. Superintending Heinrich Hanno assume responsibility for supervision, storage, transhipment, weight determination, sampling and sealing and transit of cargo. The physical inspection of the goods is carried out by highly-skilled and sworn-in inspectors. The company's superintendents responsible for animal feed, which includes pulses, cereals, vegetable and animal oils and fats, have been recognized and approved by GAFTA, FOSFA and NOFOTA. An enthusiastic and highly efficient team of employees co-ordinate and carry out administrative procedures, such as checking and presentation of CIF-documents, settling custom formalities and instructing laboratories about contractual analyses. Since the introduction of the new VAT legislation, Heinrich Hanno have also been authorized as Fiscal Representatives. Transhipment Given the wide range of services offered, Heinrich Hanno are able to provide freight covers on a house-to-house basis. Principal areas of specialization are heavy, bagged, packed and bulk cargoes, particularly animal feed, pulses, cereals, vegetable and animal oils and fats, as well as forest products. The company bears the onus of all loading and discharging arrangements, taking charge of the entire process from free-on-board right up until delivery under liner-term conditions. Customs Agents & Fiscal Representatives The opening of the European inner-frontiers has brought drastic changes in legislation. Needless to say those companies engaged in foreign trade, transportation and forwarding have had to adapt themselves to the new rules. The new legislations within the European Community call for radical adjustments and necessitate optimum expertise. With a view to assisting you with the maximum expertise and know-how in the matter of all custom formalities and wherever possible, to even further improve the scope of their services, Heinrich Hanno have decided to establish a separate organization for all their custom formalities.
