Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, your main duties will include: Assist in management of the Installation and processing equipment technical integrity. Liase with internal and external contacts associated with technical integrity, inspection, verification schemes and maintenance of equipment. Ensure communication of day-to-day technical status on issues with onshore and offshore team. Assist the Maintenance Superintendent in the development and monitoring the Maintenance section annual budget to minimise Opex while achieving required availability. Contribute to the implementation of the Integrity Management Process and Scheme. Maintain technical Integrity of Installation through implementation of published procedures and standards. Develop maintenance systems through efficiency and regular reviews of procedures and standards to create continuous improvement. Ensure all maintenance tasks are planned and implemented in a managed manner to ensure efficient utilisation of resources. Ensure maintenance resources are utilised and prioritised efficiently in planned and corrective maintenance work and status is reported at least on a monthly basis. Provide technical support onshore where necessary utilising Contracted Services and manage the interfaces to deliver the offshore requirements. Fulfil the allocated responsibilities of the Divisional, N.S.P. and Vessel Safety Management Systems. Contribute to the Health, Safety and Environmental yearly performance targets for Maintenance activities. Monitor against these targets and propose actions to achieve these. Regularly review and monitor compliance with safe work systems and maintenance procedures. Conduct all activities in a manner which safeguards own as well as colleague s safety and health, ensuring that daily actions do not compromise safeguarding of the environment. Participate in training courses as required. Offer recommendations regarding improvements and cost savings in all matters within the area of responsibility or related hereto. Perform all tasks and duties in line with Management System. Participate and be available for call out for urgent and emergency requirements outwith normal working hours. This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to develop and progress within the Maintenance field. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background. (eg HND Engineering/ Chief Engineer). Whilst oil and gas experience, or FPSO experience specifically is an advantage, we are keen to receive applications from other engineering backgrounds. The fleet is engaged all over the world, drilling and producing oil and gas for the oil companies. Since its establishment in 1972, Maersk Contractors and its affiliate, Egyptian Drilling Company (EDC), have built up a fleet of some 50 units including advanced jack-up rigs, land rigs and cantilevered barge rigs. The varied fleet enables Maersk Contractors to drill onshore as well as offshore in some of the world's most hostile environments. This will entail the Management of Design Changes as requested and required for modification or enhancement of the existing facilities together with the maintenance of accurate engineering records resulting from such changes. Manage and monitor projects through all stages, ensuring Company procedures and standards are adhered to. Liase with external bodies as required to fulfil required regulatory obligations. On a daily basis, assist in managing and maintaining the Maersk Curlew TQ/CP System and projects in accordance with company procedures, industry guidelines and current legislation. Interface with on and offshore personnel during implementation phases of projects and engineering change phases ensuring full understanding at all times. Manage allocated budget ensuring all expenses authorised are within approved limits and properly documented in accordance with the nature and requirements, and written procedures. Determine, establish and manage other 3rd Party arrangements to provide specialist support on an as-needed basis, i.e. vendors, consultancies and service providers. Update, manage and maintain engineering records through the relevant QA/QC resources ensuring that at all times accurate information is available to offshore and onshore Operations, and is fully auditable to exterior scrutinising. Notify destination offices and affected customers on shut-out, roll-over, misconnections, by-pass issues within 12 hours of knowing same. Ensure phone calls are attended within 3 rings, in-case concerned person is not available then calls must be picked-up by the person sitting in the next desk. Telexes must be attended within 24 hours of receiving same to avoid reminders. Maintain regular and structured schedule to visit vendors of accounts assigned. Promote and support GCSS roll out in Bangladesh. Ensure proper and timely information being sent to the HUB ports as and when required.
