Company profile TOS, Transocean Shipmanagement GmbH, is a company founded in Hamburg in 1989 and is incorporated under the laws of Germany. Our shipmanagement company has the privilege of combining the experience of all Deutsche Afrika-Linien/ John T. Essberger/ Transocean Liners group activities - conventional Liner Vessels, RoRo's and Containerships, Bulkcarriers, Cement Carriers, Chemical Tankers, Product- and Crude-Oil-Tankers - and makes same available to principals who are interested to subcontract management services. TOS employs presently a staff of 35 persons in its Hamburg office and warehouse. About 1100 seagoing personal is employed by TOS Singapore. Our Quality Management System has been approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping Quality Assurance Limited to the standards of ISO 9002, 1994, and the safety and enviromental protection requirements of the ISM code (IMO A 741 (18)). Presently 39 vessels are under our management and various newbuildings are under our supervision and consultance. TOS is responsible for all management services provided.
