Your Liner Service between Europe and the Indian Ocean Islands and East Africa The Indian Ocean East Africa Service of DAL Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH & Co. provides a regular container liner service connecting Europe with the Islands in the Indian Ocean and East Africa with more than a century of shipping experience. With 6 modern full containerized vessels we serve on a 10 day a frequency with an attractive transit-time from the Northwestcontinent, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Spain, Italy and France to La Reunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mayotte, Seychelles and Kenya. Together with our partners the fleet is operated jointly and the capacity is shared. DAL provides two vessels with a capacity of 1350 TEUs each to the fleet, MV DAL REUNION and MV DAL MADAGASCAR, which are managed by Transocean Shipmanagement GmbH. DAL can offer all types of equipment - owned and leased Containers- to our customers. The line is able to arrange the pre- and on-carriage of any kind of containerized cargo for you, wherever this may come from, and wherever it may go to in co-operation with our partners all over Europe and Africa. In addition DAL offers a conventional liner service from Antwerp, Belgium, to the ports on the Indian Ocean Islands and East Africa. We can offer one sailing per month with chartered tonnage able to carry a m/m deadweight of 15.000 metric tons. Vessels are chartered either for roundvoyages or single out trip depending on customers' needs. DAL accepts all kinds of cargoes with a maximum weight of about 40 tons as well as large consignements or project cargoes on prior notice. If an extra port should be called we would offer this opportunity - subject to sufficient inducement.
