Company Profile Establishment, History and Ownership Mr. Poul Christensen founded the Company in Nakskov on the southern danish island of Lolland in 1918 as a family company. In 1982 the Owner converted the Company into a limited company, all shares held by family members of the Founder. Today, the Company is owned 90% by its managing director, Mr. Borys Krejniuk, via BFK Holding ApS, with the remaining shares held by senior brokers of the Company. After The Soviet Union was dissolved, the Company opened up a branch office in 1991 in St. Petersburg and quickly became known as a leading ship-broker in Russia. A further branch office was established in 1997 in Gdansk, Poland to strengthen traditional ties to the local shipowners, shipyards and brokers. Residence While the original office still operates from Nakskov, the head office since 1988 is located in the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen. Management The Management consists of Managing Director, Mr. Borys Krejniuk, working out of the Headoffice in Copenhagen. Mr. Borys Krejniuk came to Denmark from Poland in 1981 and has been with the Company since. Apart from administering all the offices (in Nakskov, St.Petersburg and Gdansk) he acts as one of the brokers of the brokers' team of the Company.
