All our competent and dedicated employees both at sea and ashore will endeavour to make a positive difference for our customers. We focus on maritime security, safety at sea, environment protection, optimal performance and best possible operational economy. The vessels under LFM management are all flying quality flags e.g. British, Danish and Spanish and manned with a complement of experienced and competent officers and ratings. LFM is determined to meet the stringent demands of the shipping industry with regard to maritime security, safety of seafarers, cargo and vessels and furthermore to protect the environment and to provide our customers with a service of uniform high quality. Therefore, LFM regulates its activities in accordance with a quality management system based on ISO 9002 standards and the provision of the International Management Code for safe operation of ships and for pollution prevention the ISM Code. Furthermore, the gas fleet is using an environmental accounting system based on the ISO 14001 standard. Naturally, all vessels under management are ISM certified and vessels regularly calling US ports have also received the Certificate of Eligibility in recognition of compliance with the requirements of US Coast Guard s Qualship 21 Scheme.
