DSS was selected by Messrs. Maersk lines and its representative in Israel to be the start-up agents in Israel. During this time DSS controlled all of Maersk line's operations and activities in Israel in all aspects. Needless to say that while serving Maersk lines DSS has acquired a vast experience as a liner agent and strengthened its contacts & relationships with all major accounts, shippers, receivers, and Ports Authorities. DSS serves as sole & exclusive agent for all the incoming trade of bulk cement to Israel. This allows DSS to have direct access to the top management of Port Authorities. Making relationships that much more flexible when it comes to discharging or loading special cargoes. DSS also enjoys direct and extensive access to all major fertilizer exporters from Israel, such as Rotem-Amfert Negev Ltd., Haifa Chemicals Ltd., Dead Sea Works Ltd., Fertilizers and Chemicals Ltd. The above activities are matched with equally extensive ties to ship owners worldwide who entrust their vessels to the expertise chartering of DSS. DDSS has been handling project cargoes of various natures, such as: outsized units, heavy units, imo cargoes, military equipment. In addition DSS provides pre-purchase inspection / survey. DSS have amended the sale form of Bimco sale form 1993 (memorandum of agreement) to meet either buyers or sellers requirement.
