Pro Line Limited & Co. GmbH is the shipping arm and affiliate of the Cremer Group. Founded as Peter Cremer Befrachtungskontor in 1969 its prime task has ever since been co-ordinating all shipping activities of the Cremer Group which also has world-wide interests in trading, principally agricultural commodities, production, compounding and warehousing. Over recent decades Pro Line made liner shipping to another field of business. Coping with the ever changing business environments and opportunities Pro Line has been offering service to the industry as full container and semi-container line operator. This way expertise in both breakbulk and container transportation has been acquired. Pro Line is certified according to ISO 9002 standard since January 2001. Liner Services FESA-Service Our FESA - Service connects the East Coast of South America with the Far East and South Africa with monthly sailings in both directions. Sailings Far East to West Coast South America on inducement. We run this service with our own multipurpose vessels which are geared to handle heavy lifts up to 150mt. Pro Line accepts all kind of breakbulk cargoes, rolling stock, project cargoes including heavy lifts as well as containers and liquid bulk cargoes. Base ports in South America are Buenos Aires, Santos , Rio de Janeiro and Vitoria. In Africa it is Durban and in Asia Singapore, Sriracha, Hong Kong, Hualien, Xiamen, Shanghai, Xingang, Busan, Kobe and Yokohama. Other ports on request and subject to inducement. EURO-Service Pro Line offers a regular multipurpose service from Europe and the Mediterranean to the East Coast of South America. Sailings are offered at intervals of 5/6 weeks. The vessels employed are abt. 24.000 dwat and geared up to 150 mt. The port rotation is kept flexible according to cargo bookings which gives customers a wide range of loading and discharging port options. In North Europe this service covers the Baltic area and the Hamburg/Bilbao range. Also the Med/ Blacksea region we cover for our clients Discharging ports in South America are based on cargo flows and range from North Brazil down to the South of Argentina as well as the Westcoast of South America. The service is offered in both directions southbound and northbound. Pro Line carries on this service project cargoes, steel parcels and general break bulk cargoes as well as containers. MV Halifax loading in Hamburg for Brazil Chartering/ Tramping Activities The Tramp Department is responsible for the worldwide Chartering and Operating of Tankers and Bulkcarriers. About 200 vessels are being chartered annually, including tankers carrying some 1,3 mio tons molasses and bulkcarriers, loading abt 1,2 mio tons agri products in bulk. Vessels size vary from 3.000 tdw to Panmax 75.000 tdw. Shortsea Shipping activities are focussed on the transport of grains, seeds, byproducts as well as steel cargoes within Europe, Mediterranean/Black Sea, North and West Africa. About 400.000 tons are carried on about 100-120 vessels per year. Not only Cremer Group in-house cargoes are carried, but also cargoes on behalf of other clients.
