Rovde Shipping AS and the subsidiary companies in the group are mainly owned by the Knardal and the Sundnes families. The owners of the company are located in the same geographical area, in Rovde, and the all have view to their investments on a long-term basis. Rovde Shipping AS manages and operates their vessels based on modern principles and at the same time put focus on good seamanship and experience. The company has since 1985 owned and operated offshore supply vessels in the North Sea region, and the company operates presently 4 multifunctional offshore vessels. In addition, the company has two new building cable vessels of Ulstein design, which are designed to carry out cable trenching and cable laying operations world wide against a long-term contract with CTC.
