Heinen & Hopman Engineering was founded in 1965 as a family business in Spakenburg in the heart of Holland. Starting out as a subcontractor for mainly central heating installations, the company rapidly grew to become an expert in the field of installing air-conditioning, cooling, ventilation and central heating systems on board ships. The next logical step was to deliver complete solutions in this specialist area. Heinen & Hopman Engineering therefore developed its own product line for marine applications, manufactured at its own workshops. These products are manufactured and sold under the name 'SALOR'. The company is NEN- ISO 9001 certified by Gastec and all orders are undertaken according to this standard. With an experience of over 35 years, Heinen & Hopman Engineering has excellently provided systems & performed installations on a wide variety of more than 4500 ships which include Known as the world's leading marine climate control specialists and manufacturer of marine air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, central heating, sanitary systems, fire protection & environmental systems, Heinen & Hopman Engineering has built a solid reputation for engineering "whispering, draftless and invisible" H.V.A.C systems with exemplary client service and support. Heinen & Hopman Engineering employs over 160 skilled people & has subsidiaries in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Singapore, China, Aruba , Fort Lauderdale, Florida & in India. Qualified Sales & Aftersales Centres are located in Australia, Canada, Egypt, Hongkong, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Russia , Spain, Turkey, U.A.E, and United States of America.
