Customer Services Function The primary function of our Customer Service Department is to monitor your overseas orders from when we are notified of the order, by means of copy of order / telephone, edi notification etc., to arrival and delivery to door. Communication Commitment At Mondiale we firmly believe that good communication is the essence of our business. We are completely committed to being able to provide you, our Customer, with a level of communication that minimises any uncertainty within the order tracking process. Status reports showing all outstanding orders, along with relevant information pertaining to each order are faxed / posted / Emailed weekly, but can be obtained as frequently as you require. We are also committed to providing as efficient service as possible and believe in using technology to facilitate this transfer of information. You can link into the Mondiale database of information via our website to obtain updates as they are made should this be required. A fully interactive internet site has been developed and will continue to be a key area for on-going improvements. This will enable you to quickly and efficiency monitor information on your orders and electronically down-load data if required. Importing Services Air / Sea Freight By sea or air Mondiale can provide you with the most effective means for ensuring timely delivery of your valuable product from anywhere around the world. We are the largest sea freight consolidator into New Zealand and a significant air freight consolidator, ensuring that we are in a position to offer comprehensive and cost effective deliveries. Our commitment to ensuring that your product is efficiently delivered around the world is demonstrated through our dedicated team of experienced and skilled personal capable of quickly ensuring that all of your air and sea freight requirements are met. Mondiale have the ability to consolidate "less than container loads" (LCL) on a regular basis to most destinations including: Europe / Asia / USA / Canada and Australia and the Pacific Islands. We utilise the fastest services available ex New Zealand and can offer services directly from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The volume of export freight we handle also enables us to offer very competitive rates on all services for "full container loads" (FCL) to all destinations We are an IATA Accredited Export Airfreight Company reflecting the volume of export airfreight we control. Our close relationship with airlines has enabled us to offer competitive rates and service to all major destinations throughout the world based on our reliable services. We are linked to the internet, which currently provides a direct link with all the major international airlines. Through this we are able to track each shipment to confirm uplift from the airport of origin, transfer points and arrival at airport of destination. Information provided includes: flights, ETD and ETA times, allowing you exact updates on the progress of your shipments. Mondiale is also the appointed NZ agent for the worldwide "Hi-Tech Forwarder Network" This agency has been set up to provide a network of highly skilled and professional independent agencies to offer very competitive rates and services on a global basis. Customs & Tariff Services Function At Mondiale we have a team with a broad range of experience in all areas to provide you with all your clearance solutions. We can provide advisory services should you require assistance on customs matters and are continuously in touch with government and border agency policy and procedural changes. We have our own in-house tariff consultant assisting in concession applications, tariff options, valuation issues, origin costing's, preference cases, subsidy and warranty issues and statistical reporting (NZ and Australia) We believe in the use of technology to improve communication between our suppliers and you - our Customer. Development of EDI links to customers is maintained by software developers in touch with changes in requirements by all parties. On-line facilities for clients to access their file and see clearance status, cartage details and invoice charges can be established via our website. Constant development of more interactive software ensures that redundant tasks are eliminated for you and ourselves. Our Internet tracking facility is operating and will further assist the drive towards a paperless trading relationship in the future. Cartage & Warehouse Services Pick-up / Delivery Our in-house Cartage Division comprises of our own despatch team and vehicles for LCL and airfreight deliveries and pick-ups. We have direct contact with all vehicles insuring timely coordination. Third party carriers are also available as back-up, however, we are continuously developing our fleet to cater for all of your varying needs Warehousing & Devanning Warehousing is an extension to the total logistics service we provide for our Customers. From our own warehouse in Auckland we can provide local and national distribution. Short or medium term storage facilities are available and we provide a stocktaking service to suit your needs. The storage area is Customs bonded for air and sea freight and has monitored security systems 24 hours a day to accommodate our flexible operating times.
