Noise and vibration are part of our daily lifes. But on occasion they become a nuisance and cause problems. Rubber Design can remedy this by supplying passive as well as active insulations in order to isolate the sources of such disturbances. As a result a significant improvement of working conditions and an impressive lifetime duration of machinery is achieved. As a leading force in offering solutions for vibration, noise and shock related problems Rubber Design develops products for all types of applications in the maritime sector and in various industrial fields. Established in 1979 the company has since acquired unique expertise and is able to meet the widest range of requests. Rubber Design can be characterised as innovative and progressive in its aim to provide a service tailored to meet the highest standards in terms of ideas, products, services and advice from the development strategy through to after sales. In 1996 Rubber Design expanded its services by acquiring AVM Air Spring Limited. (100% subsidiary). AVM also specializes in anti-vibration technology but it has its own area of expertise. Nowadays Rubber Design has agents in more then fifteen countries worldwide. As a provider of noise and vibration solutions, Rubber Design is continuously exploring innovative technology, as well as developing improved materials. Rubber Design continuously sets the pace for answering market demands by designing effective solutions. One of the latest developments is Noretex . Our Maritime Innovation Award 2001 Winning Product! Noretex is the solution for the enclosure of existing generator set installations, such as those installed in engine rooms or equipment spaces. It is consistently the case that aftermarket installation of a conventional insulated steel panel enclosure is a difficult and consequently expensive operation. The Noretex solution is comparatively simple and cost effective. The Noretex system allows for a lightweight frame structure to be assembled in place and covered with flexible panels, all of which can be done in a very tight space. Noretex can be used in almost all applications and in numerous fields of industry. While primarily designed for generator sets in existing applications, Noretex can be applied for reduction of noise from compressors, saws, pumps, fans and virtually any other noisy stationary equipment. The advantages of the Noretex noise reduction system; Easy installation Small component dimensions that can be easily transported into difficult spaces Economical compared to conventional hard panel system Excellent access to the enclosed equipment through easily removable flexible panels Up to 25 dBA noise reduction by using patented 100 mm composite barrier panels Use of flexible composite panels avoid inherent panel resonances For more information, please contact our Mr. Jan Visser.
