SEATRADE GRONINGEN B.V. offers the following services: Full Management Crew Management Newbuilding supervision Consultancy and repair supervision Conversions Inspection and appraisals The company SEATRADE GRONINGEN B.V., as it is known since the year 1973, was established in 1951 by five Captain Owners in the city of Groningen, which is the capitol of the most northern province in the Netherlands. Today, SEATRADE GRONINGEN is not only renowned as a leading professional manager for refrigerated vessels but also for various other types of vessels. The types of vessels managed are; reefers, bulkers, ro-ro vessels, container vessels, tankers and yachts. During the past 52 years, SEATRADE GRONINGEN has managed approximately 165 vessels and has supervised the newbuilding of more than 85 vessels. Presently the company fully manages more than 80 vessels including those of its 100% owned German shipmanagement company TRITON and SEATRADE ITALY. The Management Team Capt. Karl-Heinz Hilbig heads the Management Team of SEATRADE GRONINGEN. All, except for the Financial Director, are former seafarers with experience on all kind types of vessels, including container, reefer, bulker and product / chemical tankers. They represent a combined total of some 104 years of experience at sea as well as on shore. The expertise they accumulated over the course of these years gives the company the benefits of a profound knowledge in the world of shipowning and shipmanagement. ] A capable crew onboard the vessels are hard to come by and are a key factor for successful management. SEATRADE GRONINGEN B.V. has, throughout the years, cultivated its own pool of seamen that are well educated and equipped to provide the service needed by a professional shipmanager. We presently employ over 1500 seafarers of various nationalities including Dutch, Filipino and Russian. The Crewing department, is led by Mr. Adrie Arts, who himself has been a seafarer. The combined staff of six dedicated employees, represent more than 50 years of experience at sea as well as on shore.
