Van Voorden Gieterij designs and manufactures ship propellers, nozzles and propeller shaft installations for the maritime market. We also produce high alloyed industrial castings like pump casings, double walled pipe lines, impellers and other wear resistant parts. Almost the entire world wide dredging industry is using our products. The fascinating product range of Van Voorden Gieterij is proudly presented by our experienced, skilled people. The company has two main activities: 1) Maritime products ship propellers propeller blades nozzles propeller shaft systems The company has been active in the maritime world since 1912. All products are of in-house design and production. Advanced design systems and robotized production processes are the base of high grade products, largely applying to: the fishing industry inland shipping coastal shipping navy recreational sailing 2) Industrial castings sand pattern castings single pieces or small series according to pattern or drawing maximum casting weight 25 000 kg cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel The company is specialised in high wear resistant alloys, mainly used for the dredging and mining industry. Much required products are: pump casings impellers wear plates double walled pipe systems In our own laboratory alloys are developed and adjusted to the required application. Van Voorden has been recognised by all classification bureaux and has been certified ISO 9001. Company Profile The company is completely specialised in maintenance, repair of re-pitching of ship propellers. This contains fixed pitch propellers as well as controllable pitch propellers (cpp). manganese bronze, nickel aluminium bronze and stainless steel any make and type of propeller recreational and professional sailing from o 250 mm up to o 6000 mm recognised by all classification bureaux certified ISO 9002 Regular propeller maintenance increases the life span and prevents calamities. Van Voorden Repair has a data bank in which the life cycle of each and every handled propeller is kept. This data is also available to the international web of Van Voorden repair companies. Also because of the co-operation with sister company Van Voorden Gieterij, designer and manufacturer of ship propellers, profound product knowledge is present. As a result we have been repairing approx. 6000 propellers each year for more than 35 years.
