With more than 60 years experience, Van de Grijp Pipes & Parts is a familiar name in the Dutch dredging industry. The company s reputation is not only confined to the Netherlands. Van de Grijp s products and services have a world wide reputation. The core production activity is manufacturing pipes. These can be produced in various diameters ranging from 500 to 1200 mm with wall thickness up to 25 mm. These pipes can be supplied with or without flanges. To strengthen the Company s market position, in 1989 a new Pipe Mill was taken into production. In this modern facility the production process has been highly automated. Changing over to the use of pre-blasted steel plates as base material not only resulted in a cleaner production line but also offers the customer an environmentally acceptable product. Van de Grijp manufactures pipework for virtually any type of dredger, such as pipe sections, bends, reducers and suction mouths. To ensure dimensional accuracy, all welded flanges are machined after welding. In addition to conventional pipes, Van de Grijp also manufactures special parts for dredging equipment, such as spuds, special suction pipe sections, drag-heads, diffusors, etc. The Construction Workshop produce diameters ranging from 450 mm to 2500 mm with a wall thickness up to 40 mm. The production of pipes is not limited to applications in the dredging industry but also includes very specialized projects such as: crane constructions tubular masts for wind generators and other purposes high-grade pipes for offshore- and petrochemical industry Van de Grijp has NEN EN ISO 9002 certification (Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Ltd.) Meaning Van de Grijp produces according to set procedures which guarantee a high-quality product. The Company standards include: DIN 1626 DIN 2519 NEN EN 10025 NEN EN 10029 NEN EN 10204 ISO 2768-1 ISO 2768-2 DIN / EN / ISO 13920 Class C X-ray analysis and non-destructive examination can be carried out on customers request. On request original Steel Certificates can also be supplied.
