Work Experience:

Total Experience 12 years with M/s Calfrost Engineering as Sr. Engineer Incharge.
            

During the period 1993 to 1995 Repairing of safety relief valves for ONGC platformsBH22,KG Basin at different set pressures upto 150Kg/cm2 . During this period also executed the complete Electrical and Instrumentation Work for Panna B platform built by Hindustan shipyard for ONGC. The job consisted of manufacturing of hangers for trays, laying of separate tray routes for electrical power and signal cables, trays for pneumatic and hydraulic tubing, laying of cables, power and signal, laying of tubing hydraulic and pneumatic air lines, installation of electrical panels, generators, battery banks, solar panels, electrical fixtures, installation of instrument panels, FSD/ESD systems, Calibrating all instruments before installation, testing all systems and pre commissioning. For Panna E Platform all instrument calibration and pre commissioning of instrument panels was done. Instrument like Pressure contriol valves, differential pressure indicators, safety relief valves and other instruments had been repaired for Hindustan shipyard ltd.


The period 1995, I gained expertise working on cross country gas, crude and petroleum product underground pipelines starting from 4” dia to 36” dia. This job included right from Gauging the lines minimum dia , cleaning, filling the sections from lengths varying from 1 K.M to 37 K.M at one time. Pressures ranging from 30 kgs to 250 kgs . The pre tested headers after welding to the main line is connected to the line fill package, at the same time all instruments like Dead wt. Tester, pressure and temp. recorders are connected in parallel for monitoring reading, at every 2 k.m the pipeline surface is dug and thermocouples are installed for temp. readings. The test is evaluated with the reading from instruments and cleared for usage by the owners. I have executed pipeline tests using piggable and non piggable lines for  nearly 50 sections for various clients till date. 
            620kms of 18” Oil pipeline for HPCL, Vishakapatnam.
	675kms of 12” Gas pipeline for GAIL, Vishakapatnam.
	270kms of 14” Iron ore slurry pipeline for ESSAR, Vishakapatnam.

During the periods 1997 also gained experience in marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems working on many ships foreign and Indian, solving their problems from compressor overhauling to getting down temperatures as per design conditions. Cleaning of clogged evaporator coils, Repairing of evaporators and condensers, manufacturing of condensers as per design, problem tracing, rectifications by brazing ect.

Executed and managed a complete electrical and instrumentation turnkey project for Gas Authority of India ltd, right from designing, procurement of raw materials, fabrication of  440V electrical Panels, finalizing cable routes laying of cables, calibration and installation of instruments commissioning complete systems with fire alarm systems.
