Duties:
•	Management
•	watchkeeping engineer – control the operation of the ship, ship power systems and machinery equipment operation, maintenance and repairing.
•	guidance in operation, maintenance and repairing of  ship power and propulsion plants, electrical and mechanical equipment, ventilation systems, conditioning, heating and other  ship systems;
•	supervision in overhaul of ship power systems and auxiliary mechanical and electrical equipment ;
•	 reports on operating, maintenance and repairing ship  power systems for the company (Plan Maintenance system)
•	spare part order and inventory (PC system)
•	developing plans of works on the repairing and maintenance of ship mechanical and electrical equipment plus cadets training program
